SJSU Votes! and the Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (IPACE) co-hosted this successful event with over 130 in attendance! Dr. Gerston gave a brief history on direct democracy in California and helped attendees better understand the initiative process before taking questions from the SJSU Votes! team and the audience. Questions focused on initiatives in general and the November ballot propositions specifically. What a great event!
